"This collaboration aims to expand access to higher education, especially in the field of management, within the TNI Headquarters, Police Headquarters, Regional Government, and practitioners from various national institutions," said the Chancellor of UNIGA Malang, Prof. Ernani Hadiyati.

This Doctoral Program in Management Science is designed to meet the need for experts who are able to manage effectively and strategically in various sectors important for the nation's progress.

"We are very grateful for this collaboration. This Management Science Doctoral Program will not only improve the academic and intellectual quality of students, but also support innovation in facing global challenges," said Chairman of the Cakra Inti Indonesia Foundation Mubarok.

Uniga Malang, which was founded in 1980, has graduated more than 11,000 undergraduate and postgraduate alumni with a competency-based curriculum that is in line with industry needs.

Uniga Malang Accounting Academic Community Active in International Scientific Forums

MALANG CITY - Gajayana University (Uniga) Malang continues to encourage lecturers and students to be active in writing journals. As a result, a number of achievements were made in this field of scientific work. One of them is eight academic members (lecturers and students) of the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Uniga who passed the blind review at the KRA XI 2024 International Conference.

Head of the Accounting Study Program FEB Uniga Dra Fahmi Purnamawati MM AkCA said that since Initially, students were encouraged to write written works through several courses. "So if there are titles proposed that are interesting, we will immediately contact them and encourage them to submit them to the international conference," he said. Uniga regularly participates in the KRA International Conference. This year Uniga was one of the co-hosts of the event which was attended by hundreds of universities in Indonesia and abroad. "The number who passed this year also increased from last year's 7 students and lecturers," he added.

At the conference, the participants will present the results of their respective papers. The conference will be held at Untag Surabaya on July 17. Uniga fully supports these activities. Eid al-Adha celebrations at Gajayana University Malang

Two sacrificial cows were slaughtered behind the Postgraduate Building, which was attended by the Vice Chancellor, sacrificial participants, to students.

Deputy Chancellor II for Student Affairs, Dr. Djuni Farhan, S.E., M.Si., said that approximately 300 packages of sacrificial meat for Eid al-Adha this time would be distributed to all Uniga residents and surrounding communities.

MALANG POSCO MEDIA, MALANG– Universitas Gajayana Malang (Uniga) telah mencapai usia ke-44 tahun. Dies Natalisnya dirayakan, Senin (20/5) kemarin. Di hadapan civitas akademika, Rektor Uniga Prof. Dr. Ernani Hadiyati, S.E., M.S bersuara dengan lantang.

Dia ingin momentum Dies Natalis ke-44 ini menjadi ajang untuk membakar semangat dosen, tenaga kependidikan dan mahasiswa. Prof Ernani mengingatkan, bahwa kemajuan teknologi informasi berkembang begitu cepat. Demikian juga tantangan dan kompetisinya. “Maka jangan ada lagi yang apatis terhadap kondisi ini. Semua harus mampu mengembangkan diri, sesuai bidang dan kompetensinya. Kalau tidak kita akan tertinggal,” ucapnya.

Dia menegaskan, bahwa seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi, Uniga juga bertransformasi untuk terus berinovasi menyelenggarakan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi secara optimal. Mengembangkan model pembelajaran inovatif, berbasis riset, dan meningkatkan produktivitas karya ilmiah, guna memberikan kontribusinya terhadap pembangunan bangsa.
“Kami berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan inovasi dalam pengajaran berbasis teknologi informasi disertai pengintegrasian pendidikan dan memperkuat basis hard skill dan soft skill agar dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang adaptif dengan dunia usaha dan dunia kerja,” terangnya.

Prof Ernani mengungkapkan, bahwa di usia ke-44 tahun Uniga telah meraih energi kemajuan dalam bidang Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Begitu juga dengan alumni. Mereka telah menunjukkan sumbangsihnya terhadap bangsa dan negara melalui kiprah mereka di berbagai lembaga dan organisasi. “Ini semua memperlihatkan bahwa Uniga telah berkontribusi terhadap kemajuan bangsa dan negara,” ungkapnya.

Saat ini Uniga telah berada pada pencapaian perguruan tinggi yang berproses secara optimal, guna melahirkan lulusan yang dapat mengimplementasikan ilmunya dalam lingkup entitas masyarakat. Dimanapun mereka berada. Sehingga keberadaan alumni Uniga memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap lingkungan masyarakatnya.

Saat ini, Uniga telah memiliki 13 program studi. Satu prodi doktoral, dua program magister dan sepuluh program sarjana. Satu prodi sudah Terakreditasi Unggul. Sedangkan sisanya terakreditasi Baik dan Baik Sekali.

Prof Ernani menjelaskan, untuk meningkatkan nilai akreditasi, perlu upaya yang strategis. Antara lain, menjalin kerjasama dengan beberapa universitas luar negeri. Salah satunya Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). “Dengan UTM kami sudah bekerjasama dengan sangat baik. Beberapa program telah terlaksana. Seperti guest lecture dan sebagainya, termasuk kami akan melaksanakan student exchange,” kata dia.

Sebagai rektor, Prof Ernani tidak akan berhenti mendorong dan memfasilitasi prodi untuk meningkatkan akreditasinya. Utamanya yang masih berada di peringkat baik. “Upaya revitalisasi kelembagaan perlu terus dilakukan. Agar Uniga sebagai institusi perguruan tinggi, tidak hanya sekedar eksis tapi mampu berkembang dan mengakselerasikan dengan dinamika internal maupun eksternal,” tuturnya.

Menurutnya, Perguruan Tinggi Swasta menghadapi tantangan yang kian tidak mudah. Antara lain akreditasi dan penjaminan mutu, kualitas SDM, jumlah mahasiswa, variasi kuliah dan fasilitas pendidikan, sumber dana yang tidak pasti, kompetisi ketat, kesesuaian kurikulum dengan tuntutan industri dan sebagainya.

“Kekuatan utama untuk menghadapi tantangan tersebut adalah SDM. Maka para dosen tidak boleh apatis melihat tantangan tersebut. Harus ada upaya untuk pengembangan diri secara komprehensif dan sinergitas dengan stakeholder diperkuat,” tambahnya.

Rektor Uniga mengimbau seluruh civitas akademika untuk memperkuat sinergi demi eksistensi Uniga yang lebih baik. Serta meningkatkan optimisme, kreativitas, dan produktivitas. “Mari kita bersinergi untuk memperkuat eksistensi Uniga melalui kontribusi optimal di bidang masing-masing. Dies Natalis kali menjadi simbol refleksi atas perjalanan panjang Uniga dalam mendidik generasi bangsa (20/5).

Dalam sambutannya, Prof. Dr. Ernani Hadiyati, S.E., M.S. menyampaikan civitas akademika Uniga telah meraih berbagai kemajuan dalam melaksanakan Tridarma perguruan tinggi.

Sesuai dengan Milestone Uniga saat ini, Uniga telah mencapai proses yang optimal untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang mampu mengimplementasikan ilmunya dalam masyarakat di mana mereka berada.

“Pada tonggak ini, Uniga terus berinovasi untuk menyelenggarakan Tridarma perguruan tinggi secara optimal,” ungkap Prof Ernani.

“Kami berkomitmen mengembangkan model pembelajaran inovatif berbasis riset dan meningkatkan produktivitas karya ilmiah dan hak cipta. Langkah ini diambil agar Uniga dapat berkontribusi lebih signifikan dalam pembangunan bangsa,” tambahnya.

Sampai usia ke-44 ini, Uniga telah mengelola 13 program studi yang terdiri dari 1 program studi S3, yaitu Program Doktor Ilmu Manajemen, 2 program magister, yaitu Magister Akuntansi dan Magister Manajemen, serta 10 program sarjana (S1).

Program-program studi tersebut berada di bawah naungan tiga fakultas dan pasca sarjana. Semua program studi telah terakreditasi, dengan satu program studi yang telah meraih akreditasi unggul, yaitu Program Studi S1 Akuntansi.

Serangkaian langkah strategis yang dilakukan Uniga dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan telah mencakup kerja sama dengan beberapa universitas luar negeri. Salah satunya adalah Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).

Kerja sama ini bertujuan untuk memperluas wawasan akademik, meningkatkan kualitas penelitian, dan menyediakan lebih banyak kesempatan bagi mahasiswa dan dosen untuk berpartisipasi dalam program pertukaran dan kolaborasi internasional.
