Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Uniga Gelar Yudisium Tahun Akademik 2024

Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis (FEB) Universitas Gajayana (Uniga) Malang gelar Yudisium Tahun Akademik 2024 pada Rabu, 21 Agustus 2024. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 42 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari Program Studi Akuntansi, Manajemen, dan Ekonomi Pembangunan.


“Semoga para peserta yudisium ini menjadi ilmuan yang tidak meninggalkan wawasan kebangsaan. Kami harapkan anda jangan puas hanya menjadi seorang sarjana, melainkan terus melanjutkan ke jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi, dalam hal ini jenjang Pascasarjana S2” ujar Dekan FEB Prof. Dr. Dra. Martaleni, M.M.

Kegiatan ini dibuka dengan sambutan oleh Wakil Dekan FEB, Drs. Anwar Made, M.Si., AK. CA., kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pengukuhan peserta yudisium melalui pembacaan Surat Keputusan (SK) oleh wakil dekan. Tak ketinggalan sambutan Dekan FEB seraya diiringi perasaan haru dan bangga yang menyelimuti suasana yudisium.

Di sela sambutannya, Dekan FEB itu juga menuturkan terimakasih yang sebesar-besarnya terhadap kinerja para dosen yang telah membimbing mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan penyusunan skripsi sebagai salah satu syarat kelulusan mereka.

“Kami ucapkan terimakasih dan penghargaan setinggi-tinginya kepada para dosen yang telah membimbing dan mencurahkan seluruh ilmu pengetahuan, pengalaman, nilai-nilai moral, sehingga bisa menjadi bekal bagi mahasiswa. Dengan iringan do’a semoga Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa selalu melapangkan jalan bagi cita-cita luhur saudara” ujar Prof. Marta menutup sambutannya.


Momentum yang sangat penting dan bersejarah ini tentunya akan menjadi kenangan indah bagi para mahasiswa. Terlebih upaya menyelesaikan studi yang tidaklah mudah yang mengorbankan tenaga, waktu, dan pikiran.

“Saya sangat bangga bisa menyelesaikan perkuliahan di kampus ini. Terimakasih untuk para dosen dan teman-teman yang telah memberi banyak pelajaran berharga. Semoga kedepannya kita bisa sukses dan mengharumkan nama Uniga” tutur Silfia Hanifa, Mahasiswa Program Studi Akuntansi. (Key)

Peringati HUT RI ke-79, Uniga luncurkan Program RPL dan Free DPP

Rangkaian perayaan Hari Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia yang ke-79 sekaligus menyambut mahasiswa baru ajaran 2025, Universitas Gajayana (Uniga) Malang berikan bebas DPP S1 Reguler bagi calon mahasiswa yang melalukan registrasi pada Agustus. Di samping itu Uniga bakal terapkan Program Rekognisi Pembelajaran Lampau (RPL) Sesuai dengan izin operasional Kementrian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi.


Dalam pelaksanaannya, Free DPP ini direalisasikan untuk memberi kesempatan kepada masyarakat dalam mengecap pendidikan di perguruan tinggi swasta, khususnya di Uniga.
“Kita memberi kesempatan kepada masyarakat terkait penggunaan jasa pendidikan Gajayana. Kita menerapkan kebijakan free dpp ini yang nantinya akan mengurangi biaya kuliah calon mahasiswa.” Ujar Rektor Uniga, Prof. Dr. Ernani Hadiyati, S.E., M.S., (17/8).

Berbagai bentuk sosialisasi hingga kerjasama juga dilakukan dalam rangka meningkatkan atensi masyarakat untuk melanjutkan pendidikannya di Kampus Terdepan dan Berkarakter, Uniga.

Tak hanya diperuntukkan bagi calon mahasiswa lulusan SLTA saja, Uniga juga akan implementasikan Program RPL sebagai pengakuan atas capaian pembelajaran yang didapat dari pendidikan formal, non formal, maupun pengalaman kerja sebagai dasar untuk melanjutkan studi berdasarkan kualifikasi tertentu.

“Izin operasional program rpl sudah keluar tahun ini bisa dilaksanakan. Saat ini kita akan terapkan RPL Tipe A dulu untuk mendukung penertrasi pasar dan market storage soal program RPL ini” Tutur Prof. Ernani.

Tujuan dari RPL ini tak lain adalah untuk memberi kesempatan bagi calon mahasiswa yang sudah bekerja untuk melakukan konversi SKS yang linier dengan pekerjaan dan job description. Sehingga dengan adanya program ini dapat menunjang efektivitas waktu mahasiswa dalam menjalani masa studi di Uniga.

Tentunya akan ada beberapa sertifikat kompetensi yang diakui untuk menunjang konversi pencapaian Kurikulum S1 dan S2. Kualifikasi akan dilakukan berdasar pada tinjauan dari masing-masing program studi dan fakultas terkait skill dan kemampuan dalam keilmuannya.

“Semoga dengan adanya program Free DPP dan RPL ini dapat meningkatkan student body dari Uniga, sehingga mampu meningkatkan jumlah mahasiswa pada periode tahun ini sesuai target dan harapan kita” Sambung Rektor Uniga.(key)

Uniga Peringati Hari Kemerdekaan Dalam Upacara HUT RI ke-79

Sebagai salah satu kegiatan rutin tahunan untuk mengenang jasa para pahlawan yang telah berjuang demi kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia, Universitas Gajayana Malang melangsungkan Upacara HUT RI yang ke-79 di halaman kampus. Upacara yang diadakan dalam rangka meningkatkan rasa cinta tanah air itu diikuti oleh segenap civitas akademika Uniga, (17/8).


Selain untuk meningkatkan semangat reformasi, Upacara Bendera ini juga dimaknai sebagai tonggak dalam peningkatan inovasi dan pengembangan universitas di berbagai aspek. Hal ini selaras dengan yang disampaikan Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi RI.

“Kemerdekaan Indonesia adalah buah dari gerakan menuju satu cita bersama. Begitupun dengan cita-cita untuk memajukan pendidikan dan kebudayaan yang harus kita perjuangkan bersama dengan semangat gotong royong” Ujar Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi RI, Nadiem Anwar Makarim, B.A., M.B.A., dalam amanat Rektor Universitas Gajayana Malang.

Peringatan hari kemerdekaan melalui upacara ini juga menyadarkan kita akan pelajaran berharga dalam perjuangan kemerdekaan bangsa, termasuk pentingnya komitmen dalam setiap perjuangan yang dilakukan dalam menggapai cita.

“Sesuai dengan amanat mentri Mendikbud Ristek untuk pengembangan universitas yang maju dan berkembang, tentunya banyak hal yg kita lakukan yg salah satunya adalah peningkatan akreditasi prodi dan institusi universitas” tutur Rektor Uniga, Prof. Dr. Ernani Hadiyati, S.E., M.S.

Tak hanya itu, Prof Erna juga menuturkan harapan dan targetnya dalam pengembangan Universitas. Khususnya dalam ranah peningkatan kredibilitas Universitas, yakni menghasilkan lulusan berkualitas sesuai cita cita harapan mahasiswa.(key)

Gajayana University Malang-Yayasan Cakra Inti Signs Collaboration to Organize Doctoral Program in Management Science

"We are very grateful for this collaboration. This Management Science Doctoral Program will not only improve the academic and intellectual quality of students, but also support innovation in facing global challenges," said Chairman of the Cakra Inti Indonesia Foundation Mubarok.

Uniga Malang, which was founded in 1980, has graduated more than 11,000 undergraduate and postgraduate alumni with a competency-based curriculum that is in line with industry needs.

"We are committed to continuing to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process and preparing graduates who are ready to compete in the global world of work," added Prof. Ernani.

The Management Science Doctoral Program at UNIGA Malang offers excellence in learning strategic management, entrepreneurship and human resources based on digital and local wisdom.

With a comprehensive curriculum and adequate supporting facilities, such as management laboratories and a complete library, UNIGA Malang strives to become a center of academic excellence in Indonesia.

Uniga Malang Accounting Academic Community Active in International Scientific Forums

MALANG CITY - Gajayana University (Uniga) Malang continues to encourage lecturers and students to be active in writing journals. As a result, a number of achievements were made in this field of scientific work. One of them is eight academic members (lecturers and students) of the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Uniga who passed the blind review at the KRA XI 2024 International Conference.

Head of the Accounting Study Program FEB Uniga Dra Fahmi Purnamawati MM AkCA said that since Initially, students were encouraged to write written works through several courses. "So if there are titles proposed that are interesting, we will immediately contact them and encourage them to submit them to the international conference," he said. Uniga regularly participates in the KRA International Conference. This year Uniga was one of the co-hosts of the event which was attended by hundreds of universities in Indonesia and abroad. "The number who passed this year also increased from last year's 7 students and lecturers," he added.

At the conference, the participants will present the results of their respective papers. The conference will be held at Untag Surabaya on July 17. Uniga fully supports these activities. Based on the Minister of Education and Culture's Regulation, students who pass the international conference will be free from final assignments. He added, FEB Uniga students can transfer their theses to journals that are at least Sinta 5 accredited. So students can start writing journal articles from the beginning of the semester. This is done in line with the demands of the Accounting study program as a study program with a superior predicate.

Eid al-Adha celebrations at Gajayana University Malang

Coinciding with Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijriah which falls on June 17 2024, Gaja Yana University (Uniga) Malang carried out the slaughter of sacrificial animals on Tuesday, June 18 2024. Two sacrificial cows were slaughtered behind the Postgraduate Building, which was attended by the Vice Chancellor, sacrificial participants, to students.

Deputy Chancellor II for Student Affairs, Dr. Djuni Farhan, S.E., M.Si., said that approximately 300 packages of sacrificial meat for Eid al-Adha this time would be distributed to all Uniga residents and surrounding communities.

The slaughter of sacrificial animals begins at 07.00 WIB and runs smoothly until the end. Not only that, to further strengthen togetherness, a group meal was held after the procession of slaughtering the sacrificial animal.

“We always hope that there will be developments. "Hopefully in the following year, the number of animals sacrificed can increase so that meat distribution can reach more people," continued Dr. Djuni

Sacrifice has many lessons for Muslims who believe in and carry it out. Sacrifice is one way to get closer to God during the Eid al-Adha holiday. Increasing Competency, UNIGA Communication Science Students Conduct Media Visits

Towards the end of the even semester at Gajayana University (Uniga) Malang, students of the Communication Science Study Program (Prodi) Semester 4 made a media visit in an effort to find out the work ethic of a Public Relations (PR) person to several institutions, namely: Kompas TV East Java, the National Narcotics Agency and Marvell City Mall. Some of the media visited were Kompas Tv East Java, National Narcotics Agency (BNN), and Marvell City Mall Surabaya (13/6).

"This time it was in Surabaya because we wanted to compare the differences with Malang City through PR practitioners, especially regarding work culture. "This visit is also to support the Final Semester Examination scores through travel resumes and written tests later," said Ifrani Dzukhrufillah, S.Sos., M.I.Kom., Lecturer in the Personality Integrity Course.

Apart from that, he also said that it was hoped that this media visit could be a forum for students to open their eyes about the role of PR which can enter all lines of business, the work of a PR person who occupies a crucial position in a company, and find out what the integrity of a PR person is.
